History
Purple Pomegranate Productions sells and distributes nearly 1,000 different products and receives over 1,500 unique orders every month. In addition, Jews For Jesus has a donor base of 110,000 people, many of which donate through Purple Pomegranate Productions.
In some cases when an order came in, the same information regarding the order had to be hand typed up to 5 times! Jews For Jesus’ internal database was not connected to Purple Pomegranate Productions in any way. In addition their web site was not able to accept credit cards in real-time and did not have accurate inventory amounts.
Solution
Above Media produced a new online program, from the ground up, to manage their entire warehouse, store, and information exchange. Now, Purple Pomegranate Productions uses one program to more efficiently run and integrate a complex business.
Everything is done in real-time, all from the convenience of a web browser. Because of the sensitivity of taking credit card orders online, we used the highest security available for passing and storing sensitive data. There are many custom security features that help deter and prevent fraudulent orders.
Future
Purple Pomegranate Productions can now place consumer and wholesale orders, print packing slips and invoices, order new products, update content on the web site, create marketing reports, run specials, download data directly into their internal database, accept credit cards in real-time, create letters and e-mail’s automatically when orders are back-ordered and shipped, and so much more, from one simple to use program developed exclusively by Above Media.
Overall workload has dropped dramatically for many departments. In some cases workload has been eliminated. The end result is a finely tuned web application that has transformed the way Purple Pomegranate Productions does business.
